My wife is almost 8 years younger than me. We've been to one concert together, Ian Anderson, founder of Jethro Tull. It wasn't that hugely noisy, and I think we both had ear plugs with us just in case. And I got my third set of hearing aids yesterday. :-)

LOL, juust got from the hospital, and it IS ear infection, imagine that

but the doctor seemed to be rather hopeful. we'll see how this goes :)

Good!  I'm glad it's identified and being treated.  And ear drop antibiotics are pretty darn simple to work with.  I've only had one or two ear infections as an adult, I think my last one was when my nasal sinuses were sealed shut with infected goop and it worked its way up my eustachian tube to infect my ear.  That was a truly miserable year: I was constantly being hit with sinus infections and it wasn't until I had sinus surgery to re-open them and flush them that things began to improve.  I still had to do two more courses of antibiotics AND an anti-fungal before I started getting better! 2018 was the year that I came to personally understand how physical illness can change your mental health!
