The person in this position previously was also a guy.  I was taking library classes and needed an 'apprenticeship' class and did it here, while I was here, with very little notice the guy moved up-state and his position was open.  The library director offered me the job and I jumped at it.  Yeah, in a way I'm a DEI hire - I never really thought of it in quite those terms!  This is my sixth year here.
